When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charitable organization. Bickerdike is now one of the nearly one million organizations shoppers can choose to support.  They will gather up all our donations from shoppers and send us one check for the whole amount on a quarterly basis.

Here is how to choose Bickerdike as your designated organization:

On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), you need to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Follow these steps to choose Bickerdike as your organization to support:

  1. Go to smile.amazon.com
  2. Create an Amazon account with your email address and a password (if you already have an Amazon login/password, just use the same email and password)
  3. The site will ask you to choose an organization to support. Type in Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation in the search field and click on "Select" when you see our name and location (Chicago, IL) come up.
  4. Start shopping!

Please remember: in order for Bickerdike to receive the donations, you NEED to shop using this link: smile.amazon.com. The site has all the same things, selection, deals etc that the "regular" Amazon site does

    Donations are made by the AmazonSmile Foundation and are not tax deductible by you.
