2022 Annual Membership Meeting
As we embark on our 55th year, we want to express our gratitude to you for your continued support as a Bickerdike member. Membership has been an important part of our work since our founding and remains an important part of our mission and structure, which includes meeting annually. We invite you to join us at this year's Bickerdike Annual Membership Meeting and let your voice be heard. It will be hosted on Zoom on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
During the meeting, you'll learn more about how with your commitment, our work continues. We have built or rehabbed over 2,267 affordable rental and for-sale units. We remain committed to building and preserving affordable housing in response to the needs of our residents and the community.
A year of celebration
In early 2022, we completed the rehab of Victory Apartments Preservation. We also completed the construction of Lucy Gonzalez Parsons Apartments (formerly Emmett Street Apartments) and hosted a ribbon cutting and renaming celebration attended by dignitaries and community members alike.
At the membership meeting, you will learn more about what we've accomplished this year. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in the election of our Board of Directors. You can nominate any eligible Class A or C member, including yourself, for the Board of Directors; just complete the nomination form and return it to us. The election will take place during our December meeting.
