Bickerdike was selected by the Old National Bank Foundation to receive support in its inaugural cohort of Chicagoland grantees.
Old National Bank (ONB), which is the sixth largest commercial bank headquartered in the Midwest, recently expanded operations into Chicago and continued their legacy of philanthropic support for the communities they serve. Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation, alongside a small cohort of other worthy nonprofits making an impact in Chicago, was honored with a $10,000 grant and ‘Big Check’ presentation on Giving Tuesday (November 28th) at the ONB Chicago Headquarters.
Bickerdike representatives were treated to refreshments and great opportunity to network with area changemakers. Mike Jamieson, ONB’s Chicago Metro President, and Joe Kiser, President of the Old National Bank Foundation, also joined the gathering to share messages of gratitude for the work of the grantees.
Thank you to the Old National Bank Foundation for supporting Bickerdike’s important work in redeveloping community, especially the creation and preservation of affordable housing in Chicago.
