Be a volunteer
Bickerdike welcomes volunteers. Whether you are an individual, school, or organization, we’ll coordinate the right opportunity for you. You can share your skills by teaching a workshop or help in keeping our properties clean and beautiful by painting a fence or cleaning a lot. You can also work in our garden or staff an event.
Join a committee
Participation in committees helps build community among residents and neighbors. Committees create a forum for residents to participate in decisions that affect their housing and quality of life. The sense of empowerment that results often continues beyond our organization as committee members often go on to participate in other aspects of civic life.
All committees, except the Residents Council, are open to all Bickerdike residents and community members.
