Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation is a non-profit, member-based organization serving the community development needs of Chicago’s north side since 1967. Bickerdike has developed 2,267 quality affordable homes and apartments and has 270 affordable apartments currently under development. Bickerdike works with its residents, other organizations, and key stakeholders who share the vision that the community should control its destiny. Today, Bickerdike positively impacts thousands of residents annually through affordable housing development, housing preservation, property and asset management, technical assistance, and economic development focusing on jobs.
