The 1301 N. Greenview Apartments, built in 1889, experienced a severe fire in the early 1980s. The building was abandoned and in danger of demolition. Bickerdike acquired the property, formed a Limited Partnership with private investors, received financing from the City of Chicago, and rehabbed the building in 1985.
