Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation is proud to share exciting progress on the Boulevard Apartments Preservation project—a multi-site initiative focused on preserving, recapitalizing, and rehabilitating 70 affordable apartments across three communities: West Town, Humboldt Park, and Logan Square.

The first building at 2212 N. Sacramento was completed in September 2024, and we’re happy to report that residents have already returned to their homes. This marks a significant milestone in our mission to ensure long-term affordability and quality living conditions for our community members.

Construction is now complete at the Lyndale-Sacramento site, and work continues at 929 N. Sacramento and 1930 N. Humboldt. At 929 N. Sacramento, interior finishes are being installed, including luxury vinyl plank flooring, cabinets, and granite countertops. Meanwhile, demolition at 1930 N. Humboldt is finished, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work is well underway. Our team—including owners, architects, and contractors—meets weekly to review progress, with monthly construction draw meetings keeping the project on track. We look forward to welcoming more residents back into their newly renovated homes soon.
